Futher information  Venerable Lama Kalsang was born 1943 in Zum Nyloe, Ganesh Himal Area, Nepal.

In 1953 he became monk in the “Shri Dedschen Londrup” (Zum Mugomba Area/Distrito Gorka), where he met Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche for the first time.

In 1957 he moved to the “Palden Tashi Hiatso Monastery” (Helambu Bagan Gamba Area/ Distrito de Sindu Baldstok Tsou Tar ), where he was student and teacher for 36 years. In 1967 he became manager, and 1979 Kempo of this Monastery.

Since 1978 el Venerable Lama Kalsang is member of the “Nepal Women´s Buddhish Organization Committee”.

In 1994 he become “Resident Lama” at Tashi Tschime Gatsal Monastery (Bigu Gombal, Distrito Dollaka).

Since 1995 he is “lifetime member” of the “Dhamodaya Sabha Association” with headquarter in Bangkok. This Buddhist organisation was founded to develop education and friendship of Buddhist worldwide.

In 2001 el Lopon Chechu Rimponche promoted him as “ Chikhyabe - Lama “ responsible for four Monasteries and two Nunneries.


 

On February 4, 2008: H.E. Don Antonio de Pleguezuelos y Velasco, as Grand Master of the Order of the Royal Honor, has, as an Act of Chivalry, sponsored the following generosity act for the Monarchs.

"That every year, on Monarchs´ birthdays, located in different Holy Places of the Tibetan Buddhism, it will perform a Holy Ceremony, of good wishes, long life and peace for the Monarchs and their families by Buddhist Monks and Nuns"

This Royal Request was giving to Venerable Lama Kalsang
